The Oklahoma Reader app will have 3 different readers that will provide a photo and age confirmation of the customer without displaying their actual age or other sensitive information.
To begin, launch the Oklahoma Reader app on your device. Next, choose the type of verification you need and decide how to receive the Digital ID information from the customer. Both devices will interact based on the method chosen and the customer will confirm on their device if they want to share the requested information. Once they confirm, the verified details will appear on your screen.
Reader Types:
- Over 18 – This will provide the customer’s photo and confirm if the customer is 18 and over.
- Over 18 / Under 21 – This will provide the customer’s photo and confirm if the customer is 18 and over, but under 21.
- Over 21 – This will provide the customer’s photo and confirm if the customer is 21 and over.
Ways to Receive:
- Scan: Will open the device camera to scan the QR code displayed on the customer’s device. Not all Digital IDs will have this option for presentment.
- Tap: Will require the devices to be brought together to receive the customer’s Digital ID. Apple Wallet Digital IDs will require this method.
